The Littlest Fundraiser

Youngsters and their supporters turned out at the Oct. 6 Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The families of On My Way Early Learning and Childcare Center in Middletown sponsored the event to help the hospital in its mission of finding a cure for children with cancer and other life-threatening disease. MOre than 50 families participated, raising a total of $5,200. In the front row (from left): Rosa Cirillo with her son, Luke, 1, and her daughter, Nina, 4, of Warwick; Brandon Fuentes, 13, Liam Fuentes, 8, and Erika Fuentes, 11, of Goshen. Back: Carla Fratto (head toddler teacher at On My Way Childcare) and her son, Luigi, from Middletown; Bill Cirillo of Warwick; Steve Neuhaus, the county executive-elect (who was then campaigning) holding his daughter Emma, 3; Peggy and Eric Fuentes (owner of On My Way Childcare) of Goshen, and retired NYPD detective Kathleen Horan (Trike-A-Thon traffic officer/manager at On My Way Childcare) of Monroe.
